In a time when more and more people are becoming aware of how urgent it is to preserve our planet, many inspired by the future generation and one of its most prominent activists, Greta Thunberg, it's important to share our love for Mother Nature.
It really doesn't matter if you live in a city or the countryside, we should all encourage each other to be one with nature from time to time in our life.
From mindful walking to simply sitting underneath the shade of a tree, these moments bring us peace and insightfulness, qualities so much needed in our relationship with ourselves and others.
Interiors and the outdoors can merge beautifully to create serene and inviting atmospheres. This could definitely be extended to fashion, it would be great if designers could use more natural fibres, much more healthy for the skin and kind to the environment.
Brands in general don't disclose their suppliers, but we should be able to know who they are, not only in terms of manufacturers but also the fabrics' origin, and definitely not as a general country tag, but as a direct link to a company's page with full information disclosure.
The brand's website could be an open door to know more about each of their suppliers. Yes, my 'Fashion Styling' webpage is full of luxury items available online, I refrain from adding any fast fashion brand to avoid participating in our current relentless and oblivious consumerism.
Luxury fashion is too dependent on brand identity to mess things up. Above all, it is a way of showcasing my particular aesthetic as personal stylist and to give people some ideas of how to create a look, not necessarily with the listed items but with some stuff they may have already at home.
I was fortunate enough to grow up in the countryside and feel a strong connection with nature, there's something very visceral about it. How about you? Are you inspired by nature? If yes, just let it be part of your life and share it on social media.
